-Students are expected to be self starters
-everyday the classwork details are outlined and time will be provided - they need to get it done.
-any work not completed in class will be completed before the deadline at home
Assessment (Quizzes and tests 60%; Labs and projects 40%)
Quizzes
-students are given quizzes every week or two, the quizzes are made from questions copied from the workbook.
-they will be given ample notice (minimum three days)
Tests
-They will be given a test approx. once per month.
Projects, labs and assignments
-There will be notes checks about once per month and mini presentation marks awarded 3 or 4 times per month (ask your child about it)
-Each term will have approx. 4 larger assignments (you will hear about them as they come up)
Homework expectations
-My goal is to have students complete all of their homework in class (With very few exceptions students, will be given time to complete their work in class.)
